when did the fix get released ? i didn't get notified about aptoncd
updates in hardy. I don't care about upstream i care if hardy is stuck
with non-working package archiving for 3 years !

Youssef, the gnome-python-gksu workaround was for a version we had in
the gutsy development cycle which has been fixed now so that this
workaround is not needed anymore.
This bug is fixed since 0.1.96-0ubuntu1 while 0.1.97-0ubuntu1 is in
gutsy and 0.1.98-0ubuntu1 is in hardy.

using aptoncd 0.1.98-0ubuntu1, and still having this bug (hardy). So the
bug seems to have reappeared. Sorry again man, i appreciate the time and

actually when i run aptoncd in terminal, i don't get any command line
information, the GUI just pops up irectly. But i did try aptoncd -c to
show version info, and it is indeed 0.1.98-0ubuntu1

you can just install the gnome-python-gksu package in order to execute it.
This is not an APTonCD bug, but a missing dependency.
