I've reported bug 1362017 that the menu doesn't close when you tap
Sound Settings... (for example) the first time. But this bug needs
fixing independently: it would still be reproducible by opening the menu
twice and selecting the settings item each time.

I've also reported bug 1362025 on the Back button being history-based at
all. If System Settings is constructing a history of where it's been,
and this bug is caused by adding multiple history entries for the same
screen, fixing that bug will fix this bug automatically.
