Can you please explain, what exactly your problem is? Icinga is a monitoring framework and needs to execute check command, which are normally done by monitoring plugins. The plugins needs to be installed (if available) and configured to run for each service check you want to get monitored. **

I'm sorry to say this, I can't see where this is a bug in terms of the software Icinga, or the package for Ubuntu / Debian. It sounds like you have some kind of integration for Icinga into your openstack cloud, this is not a feature of Icinga, but an add-on. Maybe by your employer even, I can't
