If you tap on a word and actually hit the area between the upper or
lower border, the cursor sometimes ends up in the very beginning or end
of the field. The fix addresses this by taking that spacing into
account.

I am finding it very difficult to reproduce the problem on the latest
rtm proposed on either krillin or mako. I can consistently select the
word I want within a line, with multiple lines. I am testing in the
messaging app send and the browser fields, and in the Quick Memo app

My further investigation suggests the coordinates are in fact correct,
instances to the contrary can be explained by consistent offsets
depending on where the event is measured from.
