For what it's worth there are unofficial Debian packages for 5.08 Beta
at:
deb http://felipe.sateler.com/debian unstable main
deb-src http://felipe.sateler.com/debian unstable main
The author is a member of Debian Multimedia so eventually those packages
will make their way into unstable. More
This also affects the Sugar interface for OLPC, as it's sound activities
work with csound 5. Sugar is in PPA only currently but the plan is to
get it in Hardy universe soon.
