Public bug reported:

This bug seems to be present on Live CDs for quite some time and
Gutsy/Tribe 5 still has it.

Steps to reproduce:
- Boot from Live CD
- Press F3 and select keyboard layout, in my case Slovenian
- Select "Start  or install Ubuntu" and press F6 to correct boot options, in my 
case, I have to add "noapic" option
- Try to type "noapic", it won't work. Only letter "i" shows up.

I don't know about other keyboard layouts but for Slovenian it doesn't
work. Leaving it to US English, works like it should.
