drivers and am using the nouveau drivers. Do I need to re-install the
nvidia drivers before I carry out the command you have asked for?

Larry, you don't have to reinstall the nvidia drivers to carry out the
command.

I've tried to configure the second screen but it fails. My system was
good before 18 of November updates.
