i dunno, should it really brighten the screen just for a volume increase ?
i kind of think no.
makes me wonder what the point of dim is? is it really only a warning the
device is about to blank the screen, not actually meant for the user to see
what's happening. e.g. no matter what the screen
I think so, yeah, any interaction with the phone should reset the dim
timer. But agree this needs design ACK.
One reason for this is that (see bug #1291458), volume keys should only
work for music, really, if the screen is off (IMO).
