Composing hides
Xubuntu 14.04.1 64bit
xfce4-panel 4.11.0-0ubuntu1
Dropbox 3.0.3
Compositing is turned off (since I installed this version of Xubuntu
half a year ago).
Dropbox icon is hidden from the panel since a couple of weeks.
restarting dropbox from terminal fixes it:
$ dropbox stop
$ dropbox start
--
I have tested Dropbox 3.0.4 in Xubuntu 15.04 and the tray icon is
visible in the notification area of the panel (with compositing on/off).
