Public bug reported: We need these two packages in main as pyqt5 build-depends on them.
Actually pyqt5 in vivid (-release) already build-depends on them, but the current packages have been copied from a landing PPA, so the issue only raised when I tried to do a (normal) upload of pyqt5. These packages are not going to be installed by default in any of Ubuntu flavors, it this is just a build-time requirement. Packaging is clean and maintained by us the Debian/Ubuntu Qt/KDE team, the license is mostly LGPL. Packaging is in sync with Debian and expected to stay so. All dependencies are already in main. I have asked Timo to subscribe ~ubuntu-qt-packagers to the bug reports. There are no open bugs in Ubuntu about these packages. The two open bugs in Debian are not relevant for Ubuntu (different architectures / versions). ** Affects: qtenginio-opensource-src (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: qtwebsockets-opensource-src (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: qtwebsockets-opensource-src (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1409433 Title: [MIR] qtenginio-opensource-src and qtwebsockets-opensource-src To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/qtenginio-opensource-src/+bug/1409433/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
