How do I go about reopening this bug?
I have been struggling with Intrepid trying to get my Radeon 9600 working.
I have tried the open source ATI driver and have followed the instructions on
the Ubuntu Community site - but alas!

To solve problem:
1. Set vesa driver on xorg.conf and after
2. on System Administration Screen and Graphics set to ati driver.
3. Ctrl-Alt-Backspace and voilà Gnome+Compiz as before.
