A bug from 2015 and still "new". Nice – Here's a fix: Edit the systemd unit file with `sudo systemctl edit --full transmission-daemon.service` and replace the line > After=network.target with the lines > After=network-online.target > Wants=network-online.target With this, systemd should wait
