Public bug reported:

Make: Lenovo
Model: Thinkpad X230 Tablet
Description: Ubuntu 13.10
Release: 13.10

When the computer goes to sleep when I step away for a while or when I
close the lid, sometimes the mouse pad stops detecting mouse movement.
The buttons all work it's just the touch pad.

When I used Ctrl-Alt-F2 to go into the terminal then used Ctrl-Alt-F7 to
come back into X, control was restored.
