Binary package hint: openoffice.org
Gusty 32bit gnome desktop with compiz at full setting. (compiz setting
dosn't seem to be the problem, does it when disabled as well)
If you change the gtk theme to something other then the default ubuntu
theme.. (for instance crux) and then open openoffice wordprocessor then
select tools | Options and then select colors then Openoffice
terminates.
Not sure how to get any more debug info then that.. Not sure how to run
openoffice in a debug mode.
