I have since upgraded to gutsy and it is making the crash files, however
I would like the old behavior where it pops up and asks me to report the
bug when a program crashes instead of me having to go to /var/crash and
double click the file, is there any way to set this?

actually I do, however it seems to not have all the ones I have
witnessed, but there is one for yesterday, is it possible it's been set
to only catch certain crashes by mistake and also the popup window
turned off?
