Running sudo sed -i '1 s/$/x/' /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst produced
no output for me.
Running sudo dpkg-reconfigure udev produces the message:
/usr/sbin/dpkg-reconfigure: udev is broken or not fully installed

insserv was causing monit and PostgreSQL 9.3 to conflict and that
prevented udev from installation in addition to the inout group already

sudo sed -i '1 s/$/x/' /var/lib/dpkg/info/udev.postinst
sudo dpkg-reconfigure udev
Thanks!
