Public bug reported: Thunar is regularly failing to display file data correctly.
E.g. After copying files between two directories today, Thunar displayed the copies with file sizes that were different from reality. Attached screenshots show Thunar's listing of files in the two directories. The subject files are highlighted. screenshot_1.png : shows Thunar list of files with accurate sizes screenshot_2.png : shows Thunar list of same files after copied to another directory, with inaccurate sizes I verified that the error was Thunar's (and not, e.g., a failed copy) by listing the copied files in a terminal window. The terminal reported the file sizes correctly. Thunar also sometimes fails to report new files when they are copied or downloaded. After this happens, it is possible to verify that they are there by listing them in a terminal window. I usually find it is necessary to restart Thunar to correct this problem.
