ubuntu 17.10 installer says: couldn't install grub2 to target.
(... to /target/ which is the 2nd partition on my western digital ssd 120 GiB
and shall be mounted as "/", formatted as ext4 jfs)
(first partition is linux-swap)
(last partition is extended, ext4, "/home")

Why is there no response to this bug? I am having the same problem.
My machine is working, but I am afraid to reboot. I have no idea what initiated
the problem, but I get it every time I install updated packages.
