I also installed Audacity 2.1 and 2.0.6 on my Ubuntu 14.04, 14.10 and
15.04 (All 64-Bit) and the problem is the same. If I click on the
playback button after importing a MP3 or even a WAV file, it sounds
distorted and everything freezes. I have to force a close.
