This isn't an intel driver issue; I just checked on an ATI R250 and saw
the same issue. I'm assuming it's a mozilla firefox issue and assigning
there.

By the way, if you're using Gutsy (or are planning to upgrade), it's
Intel driver has been recently patched. Please check to see if you still
have this issue after updating your system.

I've seen this before with pretty much all major drivers (nvidia, nv,
fglrx and i810/intel). I don't think it's driver specific, I think this
is a totem-mozilla package issue. Given the fact that you're probably
using all the win32 codecs (gstreamer-bad and gstreamer-ugly) debugging
this might be
