I have been testing different ways to get ubuntu studio to work on my
ASUS notebook. The ubuntu studio 14.04 installer had the same crash.
Previously, I had installed ubuntustudio-xxxxx with no problem. This
time, I had just installed linux-low-latency, which reported
modification to GRUB. As I "removed ubuntu 15.04 and reinstall" this
time, I get this error message.
On the same machine, ubuntu studio 15.04 won't boot after installing. I
speculate that the problem could be connected and communication between
ubuntu studio and xubuntu teams might be useful.
I'll get this working one way or another. Feel free to email me.
