There is already a copy link entry in the contextual menu (long-press on a hyperlink, then tap Copy Link). The link is in the clipboard, and you can paste it in other applications’ text fields (just tested that it works with the messaging app). Note that the functionality itself was broken until

No, I am not talking about hovering my finger above link, but sharing the currently loaded page, preferably using the menu in the top right corner of the app. There is already a sharing button so it would be nice to include it in it somehow. -- You received this bug notification because you are

Here is a screenshot showing a problem with a proposed solution. But I am not sure if it is a bug or a feature, although it is not much of a feature if you want to manipulate with the url. ** Attachment added: screenshot20150708_153656728.png

Ah, the shortening of URLs while focused is a bug indeed (bug #1472161, it’s in fact a recent regression), which is being fixed as I type. Once fixed, you’ll be able to copy the full URL. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to

Thanks for the info and for the link. Then I guess it is ok to close this thread as Invalid. Only thing that bothers me is that in the future it may be necessary to consider adding copy to clipboard feature to the content hub as some applications don't have address bar and yet it may be a good
