gnome-screensaver activates while playing SDL games with compiz enabled

Almost surely it is a compiz related issue. I have disabled the desktop
effect off and the unprompted swithching of games to windowed and back
to the fullscreen does not occur any more (i have again tried flobopuyo
and wesnoth).
Therefore I realy doubt that it is related to the screensaver

I can confirm this happens also with Battle for Wesnoth and FloboPuyo
(fglrx + compiz enabled). I did not try to run games with compiz
disabled yet (maybe it is compiz relates issue).

Same bug happens on my system with Hardy and ATI proprietary drivers, so
it's apparently not fixed in all situations.

Ubuntu better. You reported this bug a while ago and there hasn't been
any activity in it recently. I have not experienced this problem myself.
We were wondering is this still an issue for you? Can you try with the
latest Ubuntu
After a short test with Hardy it no longer seems to be an issue for me.

I can confirm Gordon's comment. My graphics card details are:
OpenGL vendor string: NVIDIA Corporation
OpenGL renderer string: GeForce 7900 GT/GTO/PCI/SSE2
OpenGL version string: 2.1.1 NVIDIA 100.14.19
Frozen Bubble switches to windowed mode after 5 to 20 minutes of play,
losing keyboard focus
It also happens for no apparent reason in Gutsy Gibbon (7.10) even if
the screensaver isn't activated.
