I'm not sure whether people had success with the attached patch. I was able to find a file online titled, atl2-2.0.4.tar.bz2 that appears to have identical source to the attached patch and I still had troubles. I was able to find atl2-2.0.5.tar.bz2 that FIXED the problem! here is the patch
