Public bug reported: I recently changed from the Unity to Gnome Shell, and I have noticed that unlike in Unity, to enable support for AppIndicator icons in Gnome Shell you have to install this plugin: https://extensions.gnome.org/extension/615/appindicator-support/
But as support for AppIndicator is such an important feature in my opinion I think that this plugin should be installed by default and not have to be added by the user. ** Affects: gnome-shell (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1477216 Title: Have AppIndicator support plugin by default To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1477216/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
