It is still useful to show the OSD because it makes it obvious what is
happening. Also, metacity does the same thing.

It is obvious what is happening, because the desktop slides to another.
In metacity the OSD appears only when switching desktops with keyboard, and
the OSD isn't so dsturbing and more nice.
