You may need to run the following from a terminal:
sudo apt-get install -f

Title:
package linux-image-3.13.0-61-generic (not installed) failed to
install/upgrade: cannot copy
In addition, I've been having trouble updating my kernel. The process
fails in some way and when I do a restart, I am unable to use any kind
of input for the latest kernel. Neither the keyboard nor the mouse work.
The old kernel continues to work without problems other than this one,
though.
