Its fine now. Does not crash.
Just get the latest updates. I dont know which update fixed it, but after
getting the latest updates, the problem was solved :)

Same here. I love Pidgin, but its strange behavior is bugging me a lot.
It crashes every now and then when ever I send a message or one is received!
