Successfully installed the latest 4.4 kernel and can confirm that the problem persists. I would like to point out another bug most likely related to it. When resuming from stand-by the keyboard backlight is off and screen is on full power i.e. not restored from when computer went to sleep. When pr

I upgraded my bios, here is the output: vid@G550:~$ sudo dmidecode -s bios-version && sudo dmidecode -s bios-release-date [sudo] password for vid: G550JK.205 09/26/2014 It didn't solve the problem, so I guess this isnt due to outdated BIOS? What solves my problem is adding 'acpi_osi=' to '/etc
