Public bug reported:

i have been testing 7.10 beta for a few days.  initially lucent wavelan
pcmcia wifi card caused a kernel crash when i installed it into pcmcia
slot.  now (on oct 12), the crash is gone, but i'm not able to connect
to network with the card.  this card has been working for me for years
(also on ubuntu 7.04). 7.10 beta is the first one where if has started
to fail.

below is what gets into syslog when i insert the card into the slot and
below that what happens, when i start wifi-radar.
