Public bug reported: When using gthumb on an Xfce4 desktop environment and selecting "Set as Background, gthumb claims it has set the wallpaper, but no changes are made.
One way to set the xfce4 wallpaper is: xfconf-query -c xfce4-desktop -p /backdrop/screen0/monitor0/image-path -s <image-file> (Single display, not multiple monitors) Perhaps this command can be added to the set wallpaper command on gthumb so that it will work in the Xfce4 (Xubuntu, etc) desktop environment. ** Affects: gthumb (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1530570 Title: "Set as Background" feature fails to work in Xfce4 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gthumb/+bug/1530570/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
