I can't tell which window you're talking about. Is it the window that
appears when you press the power button, or when you choose Log Out,
or something else?
If the problem still exists, please provide steps to reproduce it, and a
screenshot if possible. Thanks.

Thank you for taking the time to report this bug and helping to make
Ubuntu better. The issue that you reported should be reproducible with
the live environment of the Desktop CD development release - Maverick
Meerkat. It would help us greatly if you could test with it so we can
work on getting it

I can confirm this bug. The workaround I've used in the past is the
following:
Edit GConf key: /desktop/gnome/lockdown: disable_user_switching (enable)
Edit GConf key: /apps/panel/global/disabled_applets (add
OAFIID:GNOME_FastUserSwitchApplet w/o quotes into list)
Make both keys mandatory.
It is very easy:
You can make the Door-Icon an logout-Icon. So there is no menu. It just
logs out, without confirmation.
Install gTweakUI - Session with the Packet-Manager.
Then open gTweakUI and deactivate the cross at Show Logout-Menu or
similar.

Better way to do it is:
sudo gconf-editor
Then go to:
apps/gnome-session/options/
There is a bool-key called logout_prompt.
Set it to false, you can make the key manditory or default by right-clicking.

Ollie, is this something we should patch in g-p-m similar to suspend,
hibernate, et al? This something we should do for gutsy?
