It's very easy to install PDT using the all-in-one package (if you are using KDE you might need to install the gnome packages) (tested on Feisty and Gutsy): 1. download the all-in-one package (e.g. http://www.eclipse.org/downloads/download.php?file=/tools/pdt/downloads/drops/R20070917
