Public bug reported: I ran "ubuntu-bug" (without package name) to file a "general" bug. A small window opened, where I could use radio buttons to select one of of 8 options ("Other problem", "ubuntu-release-upgrader", ... , "Display (X.org)"). I selected "Other problem" and I got a small window with the question "What display problem do you observe?" and eight options to choose from ("Other display-related problem", "Fonts are the wrong size", ... , "I don't know"). I quit and restarted "ubuntu-bug". This time, I chose "Display (X.org)" and got the message "You need to specify a package or a PID. See --help for more information." I seems that something gets mixed up. I tried many times and every time when I do the same, I observe exactly the same behaviour. Thus, the bug is perfectly reproducible.
I tried to report the bug using "ubuntu-bug apport" but this seems not to work. Chrome opens a new tab with the launchpad website but it did not find the bug report there. Therefore, I ran "ubuntu-bug apport --save apport-apport.txt" and I will attach the file created by ubuntu- bug / apport. ** Affects: apport (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1539263 Title: ubuntu-bug / apport user-interface mixed up To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/apport/+bug/1539263/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
