I have absolutely the same problem and unset LANG doesn't help:
unset LANG
echo $LANG
sudo restricted-manager

See the bug #154214 for more details. Have you tried to explicitly
specify the C locale like this:
LANG=C sudo restricted-manager
Since the bug is in translations, it has no architecture dependency.

Sles, if you unset LANG the actual language to be used with restricted
drivers manager is undefined, so this may lead to error either. Just do
LANG=C. Also you may explore the language settings by using the

I have same error with new installation of 7.10. The restricted-manager
crash just after I attemped to start it. I think it is locale problem.
