Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gnome-network

When I manually configure a network-interface with network-admin on gutsy (for
example setting a static IP address), all settings are saved in the file
/etc/network/interfaces but network-admin seems to forget to reload the
networking daemon (/etc/init.d/networking)....
So my network connection is broken after changing the configuration with
network-admin and I'm unable to acces webpages but if I manually reload
networking with /etc/init.d/networking/restart everything is working.
In previous releases of Ubuntu there was a tiny dialog showing "configuring
network interfaces" or something like this an afterwards the networking daemon
was reloaded. This is missing in Gutsy what's really annoying for new users.

** Affects: gnome-network (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
