Binary package hint: yelp

I installed ubuntu with sound blaster audigy and it worked fine.  After
some updates, the sound stops working.  I reinstalled ubuntu and it
worked again.  Now, after another update it stops working.  I'dm have to
work at it to describe exactly how to re-produce the problem.  Can you
help.

I think a software update messed up my sound settings.  I have sound blaster 
audigy.  This happeded once before and I had to re-install to get it working.  
Sound is not muted
