I have both a scanner and a hp printer. My scanner was connected with my system previously, so I decided to connect my hp printer with my router. At the time of connecting, it wanted a WPS pin. Not only is /var/tmp the directory for that the Canon created "dirvers" fills with the cnij files, I now see folders named, in part, "systemd- private-" (The quotation marks are mine, they don't appear in the ls of /var/tmp.)
