I am still aware of the issue. It has been alleviated by X-Fixes being less of a problem, partly because FireFox doesn't have an animated cursor any more. The defaults have been changed and a software cursor plus mouse panning is now the default, which means this isn't a problem with the default

Ajenbo, in a freshly installed, fully updated Maverick, I cannot duplicate this phenomenon with defaults. What type of mouse are you using a laptop touchpad, serial, USB mouse? Do you notice any correlation to what your zooming into, ex. what program(s) are open? As well, we need to know is

Rusivi, I wrote ezoom. It is not speculation when I say that the defaults are changed upstream as I changed them. However, this user probably uses desktop zoom instead of enhanced zoom. That is legacy ware. And I can say with considerable certainty that his mouse isn't the problem. The easiest
