Thank you for your observation. While you are technically absolutely correct (obviously so when Compiz runs in single-"cube" dual-monitor mode, where it's quite obvious that it's a right prism spanning multiple monitors and not a cube), however, the change you are requesting isn't really a bug with Compiz per se, certainly not from a programming perspective. This is more of a nomenclature/terminology/documentation issue which should be forwarded upstream to the Compiz development community, in my opinion. Note that sometimes inaccurate nomenclature is used for marketing/promotional purposes, where a well-known term such as "cube" is used in lieu of a lesser-known (possibly) term such as "right prism". Either way, I don't think that a bug tracker is the best place for discussing this sort of nomenclature issue. Have you tried raising this issue on the compiz forum? Perhaps the "Project feedback" section? http://forum.compiz-fusion.org/forumdisplay.php?f=103
Thank you very much for reporting this issue and please note that my opinion is not "set in stone" by any means. If you feel strongly about having this issue raised on launchpad, please feel free to respond. ** Changed in: compiz (Ubuntu) Status: New => Invalid -- "Desktop Cube" is geometrically inaccurate https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/155666 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
