I can confirm this problem arise with a fresh gutsy install on an ACER 7720G. It sucessfully goes suspend to ram, the laptop switch to a mode where power led slowly blink red, indicating this state. Hitting a key on keyboard, it switch back to red, fans start moving, but screen stays black. The
