So you are calling `service unbound start` in a crontab? Note that the
default system crontab in 16.04 (/etc/crontab) has:
PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/local/bin:/sbin:/bin:/usr/sbin:/usr/bin

It works for most programs to do this in cron, as it is sometimes done
to manage programs with known memory leaks.

like:
service restart unbound
or
invoke-rc.d
?
Anyway when you invoke sysvrc scripts in a weird way, it's your
responsibility to have a sanitized PATH.

unbound was crashing, due do an issue in libcrypto.
For a temporary solution, I attemped to add a cron job, to start unbound, till
I was able to diagnose and fix the cause of the crashing behaviour.
