Just a heads up. I was affected by this bug as well, but as Luis Mondesi
suggested, performing a apt-get upgrade patched several packages and
made the issue disappear. Thank you for fixing. Included is a diff of
what was installed before and after:
○ → diff gst_pkg_before gst_pkg_after
1,52c1,52
After today's updates this is no longer happening. You may need to
confirm with others.

I get the same message when opening pidgin, and 100% CPU from gst-
plugin-scanner as well.
