Thunderbird crashes on clicking on a mail message

Re-opening this bug as I'm experiencing the same problem
(2.0.0.8~pre071022+nobinonly-0ubuntu0.7.10 on amd64), and I have no idea
what fonts fixed the original reporter's problem.

In my case, clicking on any mail message in any IMAP folder causes
thunderbird to segfault and crash. However, if I apt-get --reinstall
install thunderbird, it will work for one session, and then start
crashing

Disabling and re-enabling my add-ons as was suggested in 85616 sorted
out my problem.

Thunderbird crashed while trying to open a message.

Hi,
please submit the crash report by (double) clicking on it (e.g. using
gnome file manager). Otherwise, we won't be able to process it
efficiently. The .crash files can be found in the /var/crash directory.
Thanks,
- Alexander

Addendum to this report, should have noticed that the installed version
as reported by synaptic is 2.0.0.8 whereas the version that is shown in
'about is 2.0.0.6 - since I have transferred my .mozilla-thunderbird
file from 7.04 - maybe this is part of the problem?

Just installed a load of fonts through Automatix2 - and the problem
seems to have gone away, fonts (or lack of) causing a crash or just a
coincidence - either way seems OK for now!
