AppStream on Debian/Ubuntu unfortunately isn't multiarch-aware yet, I am
working on that upstream. Won't make it for Xenial though, I think, since it
will require several invasive changes.

What metadata is it missing?
Does is it not appear in GNOME/Ubuntu Software because it is i386-only?
I'm using an amd64 system and PCSX2 does not appear if it is not already
installed.
