ok on hardy beta using ndiswrapper WPA and WEP work so if someone else
can confirm this I think it's fixed.

The same thing happens to me. WEP works fine in gutsy but not WPA. It
used to work for me in Feisty. I have an ipw3945 card.

it does work in icedove, ill get to working on it for hardy this coming
week
