Public bug reported: Release: Ubuntu 16.04 LTS
After installing lldb from the repositories, I get the following output when I try to use it: lldb foo (lldb) target create "foo" Current executable set to 'foo' (x86_64). (lldb) r error: process launch failed: unable to locate lldb-server I made a copy of /usr/bin/lldb-server-3.8 and named it /usr/bin/lldb- server. This solved the problem. I think this is most likely a problem with the installation of the package, rather than lldb itself. ** Affects: llvm-toolchain-3.8 (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1579620 Title: error: unable to locate lldb-server To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/llvm-toolchain-3.8/+bug/1579620/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
