Finally solved!
A new NIC did it. :)
Se there is probably something wrong with the tulip driver in the
vanilla kernel (which i used).

I have the same issue. When I use a dial-up modem ( 56k - serial modem )
torrents works fine, when I use a Yiso wireless modem ( 3G - CDMA - usb
modem ) torrent client crash my Gutsy ( anyone : azureus, deluge,
transmission, transmission in shell, ... ).
I think that will be a bug in us

I'm getting this problem too, again nothing in the logs.
Running Hardy now (which is still affected) but used Gutsy through it's
development cycle and a fresh install for a month after release it's
release.
Used Deluge and Azureus.
Running Intel 3945 wireless.
