I don't know with which security enhancing CFLAGS you have compiled
nspluginwrapper on (u)buntu but
afaik I only was able to compile it on Gentoo (I'm a former / part-time
gentoo user) without the -D_FORTIFY_SOURCE, ssp and pie setting,
so if you have that enabled or ssp / stack smashing
Just happened back to back to me--couple seconds apart.

I just built nspluginwrapper 1.1.2-0ubuntu1 completely vanilla *except*
I commented out the 006_runtime-restart.diff patch, and I've found flash
to be much more robust without it; I am no longer required to restart
firefox when flash fails. Sometimes, I have to reload the page but
that's it. I

Well, My ubuntu 8.10 beta, with isoimage AMD64 labeled and installed by
default, installed on my computer with AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core
Processor 4400+.
Resently Adobe released flashplay 10, and 8.10 beta is installed quite
closed to the day Adobe released it, I think there was flashplay 10
Same problem here , running 8.10 beta , 64 bit and used this methode to
make flash work : wget http://queleimporta.com/downloads/flash10_en.sh

I don't have any problems with (Adobe) flash player in Firefox for amd64
(Ubuntu 8.04).
You must just remove (first) all installed flash plugins and then
install Ubuntu restricted extras
or just open www.youtube.com and plugin flash (Adobe) with Firefox

Just upgraded to 8.10 beta and I can confirm that I am having the same
problem. Whenever I watch anything on Hulu. But I suspect other sites
like You tube might exhibit the same behavior.

Just went through the last batch of updates for Intrepid Beta, and just got the
error again. For certain, Flash is more stable now, but still not 100%. Makes
life difficult when people write admin interfaces in Flash (why flash, why?)
Seems like the number is close to 4 - 4 flash items or more

Confirmed on Intrepid Beta 64-bit. Was also an issue on Hardy 64-bit,
was forced to reboot browser on a regular basis while working with Flash
Apps. After the upgrade at least it tells me what it was that crashed,
specifically... (npviewer.bin crashed) :-S
