Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: gdm

When a user logs out of the first seat on a multiseat configuration the second
user session locks up with X consuming 100% CPU. Mouse and keyboard are
unresponsive, kill -15 does not work, only kill -9
Using Gutsy Gibbon on a AMD Athlon64 X2 5800+, 3GHz board with ATI cards. The
problem was present in Feisty as well.
 The relevan part of the gdm.conf-custom is:
[servers]
0=Standard0
1=Standard1

[server-Standard0]
name=Server0
command=/usr/X11R6/bin/X -sharevts -isolateDevice PCI:1:5:0 -layout Seat0
flexible=true

[server-Standard1]
name=Server1
command=/usr/X11R6/bin/X -sharevts -isolateDevice PCI:3:6:0 -layout Seat1
flexible=true

** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
